Kentucky Great Writers Series TOMORROW

The Carnegie Center will host The Kentucky Great Writers, the second in a series, tomorrow, Tuesday, March 9, 2010. This event is sponsored by Wind Publications, an independent small press located in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

Great KY Authors:

Dorothy Sutton (Backing Into Mountains)

Normandi Ellis (Fresh Fleshed sisters)

Stephen Rhodes (The Time I Didn’t Know What to Do Next)

The night kickoffs 6:30 with open mic sign-ups (first come, first served) The open mic session starts at 7:00 PM (3-minute limit per reader) to give our audience a chance to participate.  At 7:30 the readings by featured authors will begin. Each author will read for 15-20 minutes from a work of their choice. After the author readings, we’ll have book signings. The locally owned Morris Book Shop will be on hand to sell the Kentucky author’s books.

  1. It was a great night of readings and mingling with writers. And, having Magee’s throw in some extra cookies for our event was a super nice touch!
